Overview This engineer is a customer facing position and requires an understanding in cybersecurity training/exercises along with an interest in working with customers engaged in those activities. Responsibilities Interface with customers to troubleshoot issues with the cyber range or Learning Management System Document customer feedback (bugs, feature requests) Assist in setting up virtual environments on-site or remotely Identify additional features that benefit the customer set to enhance the product Explain the cyber product capabilities at a technical level for new or potential customers Provide touch support coverage at O'Fallon, IL location Required Experience/Qualifications 5 years in cybersecurity field 3 years in virtual environments Excellent oral and written communication Preferred Experience/Qualifications Linux KVM Strong Linux, Windows and Networking fundamentals Military operational experience in cybersecurity Experience in multiple work roles (Builder, Manager, Instructor, and Student) on a Cyber range, preferably CyberCENTS Special Requirements/Security Clearance TS/SCI security clearance DoD Directive 8140 Certification O'Fallon, IL preferred work location Position requires proof of Covid-19 full vaccination status or qualified exemptions By Light provides a broad range of hardware, software, engineering, and IT integration services. $80K -- $100K
