Summary:
PRN - Days (As Needed) Prepares and performs various sonography studies per protocol and as ordered per the provider.
Processes studies to include preparation for interpretation by the physician and a preliminary test result.
Provides patient care in accordance with the standards of care specific to age and the individuals' needs.
Qualifications:
Education QualificationsGraduate of or currently enrolled in an allied health program is required.
Associates degree in allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is preferred.
Experience Qualifications Experience in ultrasound/sonography preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.
OR must be eligible to sit for the RVT or RVS exam AND must obtain registry within 6 months of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
