Summary:
The Care Management Specialist, in collaboration with the Case Manager (Registered Nurse or Social Worker), assists in coordinating the utilization review and discharge planning tasks.
They are responsible for organizing and overseeing the administrative aspects of utilization review and discharge planning and other assigned duties within the Care Management department.
Qualifications:
Education High School Diploma or GED is required.
Experience Experience within a health system is preferred.
Medical Terminology knowledge is preferred.
1-2 years of clerical experience is required.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Certified Nursing Assistant or other health certification is preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 60 days of hire.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
