Tasks include but are not limited to:
Answer multi-line phones and either direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller's needs yourself Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information and any other necessary data Provide patients with intake and new patient forms as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents Process payments from patients for co-pays and uninsured visits Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on Physician and PA/NP availability Maintain electronic patient records stored in our EHR Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and to help them schedule testing for off-site services Provide patients with support and guidance as needed Hours are Monday-Friday 8:
30 AM-5:
00 PM.
Health insurance is paid for the employee and PTO starts at 2 weeks/year.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
