We are seeking a Collection Insurance Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will monitor accounts to identify outstanding payments and communicate with clients regarding the collection of those funds.
The ideal candidate has excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with limited supervision.
Responsibilities Review accounts to discover overdue payments Research client information and historical data on accounts Communicate with clients regarding overdue accounts Collect payments and issue refunds Maintain accurate documentation of account status and collection efforts Report on collection activity and present to management Qualifications High school diploma/GED required, a college degree is preferred Previous experience as a Collection Specialist or in a similar position Understanding of collection techniques Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, and computer databases Ability to work well under pressure Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
