HR Talent Consultant
Key Role:
We are looking for an experienced HR Talent Consultant to provide HR subject matter expertise, thought leadership, and consulting to business leaders.
More specifically, as a HR Talent Consultant you will:
Serve as an internal consultant to business leaders
Work with stakeholders to evaluate business challenges, identify opportunities for influencing and implementing change initiatives, and build ongoing support for talent solutions that meet the changing needs of the business
Leverage business acumen and analytics to tell a story and articulate the why
Travel to sites regularly to scan the business environment, facilitate staff focus groups, drive increased engagement, assess risks, and follow up to ensure issue resolution/closure
Partner with business leaders to understand team/individual performance concerns, recommend strategies to improve performance, and monitor for improvement
Identify, resolve and/or escalate barriers and risks in a timely manner
Serve as a champion of change and drive adoption of new approaches, programs and technologies and diversity and inclusion tactics
Develop and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, frontline managers and colleagues (other business partners, COEs, etc.)
Contributing to the strategic direction, formulation, and implementation of corporate-wide HR policies, procedures, systems, and initiatives (e.g. Workday adoption, performance management, risk identification/mitigation, etc.)
As a HR Talent Consultant, a typical day might include:
Meeting with business leaders to understand the business environment and help drive greater engagement
Facilitating focus groups to obtain feedback and understand what's working well and where there are opportunities for improvement. This might be at a team level or for an entire location/site.
Advising leaders regarding risk issues in local environment
Working collaboratively with COEs to drive strategies to address opportunities/issues, and following up to ensure successful resolution/closure (e.g. compensations analysis, capacity management, crisis management, etc.)
Serving as a change champion to drive adoption of new approaches, programs, and technologies (e.g. FLSA, Workday, and Job Profiles)
Articulating business insights obtained from data analytics and trend analysis leveraging Workforce Analytics
Communicating critical messages to leadership, including issues, risks and mitigation strategies

In-depth HR functional expertise, including policies, procedures, training, compensation, benefits and performance management

Understanding and assessment of business challenges
Change management supporting change initiatives and talent solutions that meet the needs of the business and employees
Risk identification, management and resolution to address and inform key HR strategies
Problem solving, conflict resolution, & decision-making
Effective communication skills - ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings, can get messages across that have the intended impact; effective at building and briefing presentations with large and small groups with peers, executives; able to change tactics mid-stream if needed
To be eligible you must have:
8-10
years of applicable experience, including HR and consulting
Strong understanding of HR Technology (HRIS/Workday)
Proven track record of solid performance with no issues
Experience using facts and analytics to understand trends and develop solutions that lead to measurable impact on an organization
Demonstrated comfort and confidence in leading through change
Ability to be results driven and positioned yourself as a trusted advisor to leaders, peers and employees
A Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, organizational development, or a related degree required
Ability to travel 25%-50%
Proximity/Location: 3 days minimum in Booz Allen office, Talent Center, and/or client site

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
