Vehicle Description Gateway Classic Cars is excited to present this 1990 Chrysler TC Turbo II I4 by Maserati at our Milwaukee location.
Based on the K-platform, the Italian Q platform was developed as a joint venture between Chrysler and Maserati.
Between 1989 and 1991 there were 7,300 units manufactured in Milan Italy.
All were produced as a 2-door hard top convertible.
Three different engine variations were available including a 2.
2 four-cylinder turbo and a 3.
0 V-6.
Transmissions included automatic and manual options with the latter being much rarer with only 500 units produced.
The 2.
2 16 valve- engine was specially developed for Maserati in England.
The engine consists of a custom- made block, upgraded crank shaft and rods with a Japanese Turbo equipped on the Turbo II I4 models.
The struts and shocks were also specially designed for this vehicle.
Our 1990 Chrysler TC Turbo II I4 by Maserati is a pretty rare car considering the combination of its 2.
2 16 valve DOHC turbo engine and manual 5-speed Getrag 284 transmission.
The engine was rebuilt about 200 miles ago.
Painted in glossy black with matching Italian hand-stitched leather interior which was a new color combination in 1990.
