The Model A was manufactured from 1927-1931.
It was the second success story after the Model T for Ford.
Originally it was available in four standard colors.
By 1930 Model a Sales topped three million and was offered in nine body styles.
By the end of its production run in 1932 over 48 million units were sold.
The engine was a water cooled inline four with a displacement of a 201 cu in.
The transmission was a conventional unsynchronized three speed sliding gear manual.
The model A incorporated four-wheel mechanical brakes.
It was also the first vehicle to have safety glass in the windshield.
Our 1929 Ford Model A pickup is a fine example of Fords ingenuity in making a reliablework horse for the masses.
