Well, the folks a Mallet Performance Cars plucked the 4-banger out and dropped in Chevrolet's esteemed LS7 427, making this Pontiac lightning quick- perhaps more so that the Corvette due to its lighter mass.
It LOOKS like a factory-built vehicle.
The folks at Mallet did a beautiful conversion.
