For Sale: 1942 Ford Woody Wagon in O'Fallon, Illinois for sale in O Fallon, IL

1 of 50
Vehicle Description Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this awesome 1942 Ford Truck Woody Wagon.
This Woody has been through a very nice restoration.
It has been painted Black Cherry that goes great with the wood trim, crafted by Nickels Automotive Woodworking, created from maple trees grown in Michigan.
The vinyl roof is period correct and is brown on top.
The interior is similar to a standard station wagon layout, except the 3rd row seat is shortened to allow a pass-thru from tailgate to front seat.
The dash panel was altered to accommodate modern instrumentation and controls.
This Woody has a 350 Buick V8 engine paired with a TH400 automatic transmission.
Rather than utilize the original 1/2 ton chassis and suspension, the 42 Wagon has a 1970 Jeep Wagoneer chassis and running gear, which was rebuilt and used to provide sufficient power and reliability for frequent touring.
It comes equipped with a 4WD system.
This particular Wagon showed just how reliable it really is by completing a 5,000 mile
maiden run to the Wavecrest Woodie Car Show in Encinitas, CA in 2012.
Options for this 1942 Ford Woody Wagon include:
AM/FM Radio and CD Player.
Hub Caps, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Radial Tires.
