Vehicle Description Gateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas is pleased to present this 1964 Mercedes Benz 220SB W111 model in white with brown vinyl interior carrying early California Black License plates.
The Mercedes Benz W111 was a chassis code given to a range of Mercedes-Benz vehicles produced between 1959 and 1971, including four-door saloons (1959-1968) and two-door coupes and cabriolets (1961 to 1971).
Their bodywork featured distinctive tailfins that gave the models their Heckflosse nickname - German for fintail.
Introduced with a 2.
2 liter inline 6 cylinder engine all models shared the 2195 cc M127 straight-six engine producing 95 hp at 4800 rpm and capable of accelerating the heavy car to 160 km/h (155 if fitted with optional automatic gearbox).
The 220Sb featured twin carburetors and produced 110 hp at 5000 rpm, raising top speed to 103 mph) and improving 0-62 mph) acceleration to 15 seconds (16 on the 220b).
The interior has roll up windows with an early air conditioning unit still in place as well as the original Mercedes Benz hub caps and all the chrome pieces still in place.
