Vehicle Description Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is thrilled to present this colorful and characterful 1933 Ford Pickup with 1960 Cheesbourg Enterprise Tag-A-Long (trailer) for sale on consignment with our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix.
Not much can beat a flashy, custom hot rod when you're looking for a good time on four wheels and that's exactly what you get here.
This Purple '33 Ford, nicknamed Grape Nutz by the owner/builder, is a fascinating to look at and even better to drive! The narrowed and boxed frame of the truck was lowered around 8 and the front axel was dropped to give the low body look.
The truck bed was also shortened and modified to tip up for access to the gas tank and battery.
Fat Hoosier Pro Street rear tires over Weld racing wheels look right at home and the flame job on both doors is a classic touch on this street rod.
The trailer (must be sold with the vehicle) is one of 50 manufactured by Bill Cheesbourg who was a race car driver from Tuscon, Arizona and used trailers to pull behind his Corvettes.
It has been modified with a hard cover, paint matching the body, custom pinstriping and adding a rear bumper.
Under the custom half-hood on this sweet '33 is a 400 CID Chevrolet small block paired to a 200R4 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, turning the rear wheels through a Ford 8 rear end geared 3.

Chrome components galore help spruce up the look and a purple painted engine block matches the rest of the truck.
Exhaust headers feeding dual exiting stainless steel pipes give this '33 Ford the soundtrack it deserves.
Hop inside Grape Nutz and you'll be pleased to see nice Gray leather seating with safety belts, refurbished dash with AutoMeter gauges and professional wiring by Southwest Custom Trucks hidden from sight.
The door handles and window levers are chrome coated and turn signals have been added.
What a cool build! There's more to share with any interested party on this 1933 Ford Pickup with trailer and this one is ready for its next owner to enjoy it, hopefully for many years to come.
