This body was manufactured from 1975-1996, and 1991-1996 in the form you see here.
They are stately cars for sure, long and substantial, good looking with the top up or down.
This one looks great outside- beneficiary of newer paint and top.
The paint is nice quality, smooth and shiny, showing little wear.
The fabric top looks good, as does the fit.
The interior is original- and although it shows wear, it also shows a car that held up better than many you will come across.
These were top of the line roadsters when produced and had to look the part with nicely detailed wood, chrome and leather, as well as all the power equipment expected in a luxury class performance automobile.
The heart of the car is the 6.
0 liter V12, advertised at 278 horsepower @ 5400 rpm and 334 lb-ft @ 2800 rpm, able to propel this sleek Jaguar to 60 in 7.
10 seconds.
Not bad given the size and weight.
But this isn't meant to be a hot rod.
It IS a very good looking cruiser with enough power to make it enjoyable.
