Many people are familiar with the typically lethargic base Dodge Spirit, but the R/T was a completely different beast all together.
Only 1,208 R/Ts were made in 1991, and of that only 774 were manufactured in red.
All of them were powered by a 2.
2l turbo 4-cylinder engine and 5-speed manual transmission churning out an extremely impressive 224 horsepower to the front wheels! All that power was good to make it the fastest production sedan at the time! This example has been in the same family since 1997, and extreme car has been taken over the years.
The odometer shows an actual mileage of just over 36,000! The second owner, who purchased it in 1997, kept the vehicle in a garage and only put around 1,000 miles on it, as he understood the rarity of these vehicles.
The gray with red stripe interior is in incredible shape and shows no burns or marks and has no smells or odors.
